Christmas Message From The Provincial Grand Master

Brethren,


As this year draws to a close and we reflect on the last twelve months we think of the difficulties that this dreadful pandemic has brought to us all, and of the losses we have suffered in our families and in our Masonic family.

With the release of the COVID-19 vaccine there is hope on the horizon and, I am sure, we are all looking forward to our lives returning to normal and to once again attending our Masonic meetings.

At this time, I wish each and every one of you a very happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year with my prayer that in 2021 we will recommence our Masonic activities with a renewed vigour and enjoyment.

Inter Visitation Report

It is with enormous pleasure that I am asked to give an account on the inter visitation between the Province of Warwickshire and the other neighbouring Provinces in the Royal Order of Scotland.

Being a member of the Executive, as Substitute Tirshatha since June 2017, I had the privilege of representing our Province on no less than 16 times, at all the neighbouring Provinces and beyond, including Staffordshire & Shropshire, Derbyshire, South Midlands, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, Hertfordshire, Dorset, and North Midlands. Besides twice attendance at Grand Lodge in Edinburgh, including the AGM on 6th July 2018. All these were very happy occasions, and the highlights were forging new friendships with other members of this wonderful Christian Order, some of whom paid a return visit to Warwickshire.

It was an utmost pleasure to see two of my dear friends Installed as PGMs, by the Deputy Grand Master and Governor, Sir Archibald Donald Orr-Ewing, Baronet MA. R W Bro Stewart Littlejohn as PGM for Derbyshire on 31st August 2017, and R W Bro Clifford Bull as PGM for South Midlands on 18th January 2019.

I am hoping that I will be able to maintain the fellowship with these and other Provinces and will report on such occasions with constant regularit

Donation to the Marrie Curie Hospice

A donation of £300 was made to the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull, every amount helps these fantastic places to keep up the good work they do.
